Shannon W: St. John Ambulance

On behalf of St. John Ambulance we would like to nominate Shannon W for Volunteer of The Week.  Shannon originally joined St. John Ambulance in 2013 as a Therapy Dog Volunteer.  Shannon and her beautiful Newfoundlander "Abby" made a lot of people happy out visiting.  Unfortunately in 2016 Shannon had to retire Abby as she was getting older and the visits were getting harder on her.  In 2013 Shannon also moved into our Therapy Dog Evaluator position here in Grande Prairie.  She has volunteered numerous hours assisting in many of our Therapy Dog Evaluations in Grande Prairie.
Shannon is a breath of fresh air.  We are so lucky to have her part of our team.
