Brenda Woodman: Alberta Supports 

Alberta Supports would like to nominate Brenda Woodman, for her dedication to the Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP).  Brenda does income tax return for hundreds of low-income Albertans, every year, for free, through the CVITP. The program is currently being administered out of the NW Alberta Supports Centre, in Grande Prairie. Brenda has been offering her services for several years and her dedication is admirable and sincerely appreciated.

Cindy Wendorf: Grande Prairie Council for Lifelong Learning 

The Grande Prairie Council for Lifelong Learning would like to nominate our volunteer tutor Cindy Wendorf. Cindy has been helping her learner with reading, vocabulary, and writing for over 3 months. She promotes a positive and comfortable learning environment for her student. Cindy continues to take tutor training workshops in order to understand and meet the educational needs of her student. Thank you so much for your commitment of time and energy in supporting your student’s learning goals! We value and appreciate your work ethic!

The Finishing Touch Grad Society would like to nominate Lois Kurlovich for volunteer of the week. Lois' has been with Finishing Touch for 4 years now and has spent 3 years as the organization’s secretary. Lois is very dedicated to this busy group and helps with whatever is needed.

Kolby Braseth: PARDS 

PARDS Therapeutic rider, Kolby gave many hours of his time, over 3 different weeks, selling Dream Home tickets for PARDS at the Mall. His dedication and commitment to PARDS have helped make our weeks there a real success. Thank you Kolby for helping out and giving back to PARDS, you are a wonderful volunteer!

Larry Groner: Saskatoon Lake Ag. 

Saskatoon Lake Ag. Society would like to extend a huge THANK YOU to Larry Groner.  Larry is our go to man for all maintenance and repairs at our community hall.  He is always willing jump in with a fix and lend a hand or get the job done.  Larry we thank you for your tireless hours of repairs and for sitting on our board as a member for so many years.  Your skill and knowledge is greatly appreciated and we appreciate all your hard work.
